First-Ever Pride Exhibit Of LGBTQ Youth

Our PRIDE photo exhibit launched at the Times Square Alliance this week to a chorus of acclaim – including with billboards at Times Square!

At the launch event, You Gotta Believe was honored to receive the Mayor’s Proclamation (along with the Heart Gallery NYC, who collaborated on the PRIDE exhibit) from Council Member Daniel Dromm. We are also delighted to have received the following media coverage which achieves our goal of highlighting the unique and disproportionate challenges that young LGBTQ people in foster care face in finding forever families.

But the biggest highlight of the launch might be words like this: “I would do this again a thousand times over,” said Ramone, one of the young people pictured in the exhibit.

Check us out in the news, and come see the exhibit for yourself!
